I was born into a Christian home, where both my parents strongly emphasized the importance of faithfully attending church. Even though I went to church all my life, it wasn’t until I was fourteen years old that I accepted Christ as my Saviour. When I was fifteen I surrendered my life to preach atCamp YES hosted by Pastor Doug McLain. Shortly after that the Lord used many circum-stances and a missionary name Stan Kamps as God called me to bring the Gospel back to the Netherlands. I took my trip to the Neth-erlands when I was 17, and I returned every summer after that working along side Stan Kamps. After high school, I attended Faith-Way Baptist College of Canada; and graduated with a Bachelor of Theology Degree with a minor in Missions. After Bible College, I began interning at my local church under my pastor, Pastor Robert Wall. My responsibilities included leading the Youth Group, teaching the Teen’s Sunday school class, teaching in our Christian School, organizing the Vacation Bible School, and working on our Sunday School buses.
I grew up in a home where my mother took us faithfully to church. At the age of 13, I accepted Christ as my Saviour on July 29th, 1999; and was baptized the same night. The following year, I surrendered my life to serve God in whatever He would have me to do.. After completing high school, I attended my local church Bible Institute for 2 years; and then by God’s leading, I attended and graduated from FaithWay Baptist College of Canada with a bachelor of Religious Education Degree. During this time I met my hus-band, and now we share the burden of God’s calling to bring the Gospel back to the Dutch people. Throughout the years I have been privileged to serve the Lord in many areas including: teaching children’s Sunday School classes, Vacation Bible School programs, and youth ministries.
